Carolina’s productions permeate documentary art and hybrid docu-fiction, and are sensitive to current social, cultural and environmental themes. Script work is a hallmark of her works, combining content and entertainment, ensuring a powerful visual narrative, moving stories and successful campaigns. Her films address topics such as environmental rights, human rights, freedom of expression and information, gender equality, racial equity, decolonization of knowledge, food and nutritional security, cultural diversity, indigenous and traditional peoples of Brazil.

Over the last few years she has collaborated as a director in production companies such as Movie & Art, Olhar Imaginário, Bando, Agência D4G and Science and Nonduality (SAND).

Carolina is Founder / CEO of Primavera Digital Production Company (2013 – now).

Degree in Social Sciences – Visual Anthropology from PUC University of São Paulo (Brazil); Specialization in Documentary Cinema from the Observatorio del Cine, Escuela de Cine Documental (Arg); Master in Documentary Cinema at the New York Film Academy (US). Yoga Teacher | RYT-300 @yogaalliance.

Carolina directed the campaigns Recicla Sampa (2018), #NossaVozResiste (2017), and #SupportRight2City (2016); The documentary films Lá do Leste (2009), A Caminho da Copa (2013), Afrika Tembo (2015), e Marta, a rainha do futebol (2019); Branded content for Sabesp, Colgate, Shell, Hendricks, Perrier, Brahma; Correspondent for National Geographic, Portal R7, Revista do Brasil, Folha de São Paulo, Vibrant Magazine, among others.

Participation and awards at festivals such as The Americas Film Festival of New York (New York), Ballhaus Naunynstrasse Festival (Berlin), Mostra Internacional do Filme Etnográfico (Rio de Janeiro) and Festival Internacional de Curtas (Belo Horizonte).

Producer for the international series Science and Nonduality (The Eternal Song – 2023) in the episodes filmed in Brazil/Amazonia.

Carolina taught film classes at institutions such as the New York Film Academy, InC – Instituto de Cinema, Escola Buchareste, SESC and LISA_USP – Laboratory of Image and Sound in Anthropology at USP, as well as workshops in indigenous communities in the Amazon – winning project of the Edital de Audiovisual Aldir Blanc (2021 grant).

Curator and Founder of the Indigenous Film festival – O Futuro É Ancestral (Brazil, 2024/2025).

Jury Member of the selection committee for PROAC Notice N 30/2020; the NOTICE LAW PAULO GUSTAVO SP No. 05/2023; and Edital PNAB N.º 42/2024.

Author of the book Lá do Leste (2013) and has published articles in International journal Vibrant (2012), Anpocs (2012), 7 Magazine – Culture and University Extension USP (2012) and in International Seminar virtual book Images of Culture (2011 ), among others.

Presented at conferences such as HABITAT – The United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Ecuador, 2016); El Tercer Congreso Latinoamericano de Antropología – ALA (Chile, 2012); Rio+20, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Brazil, 2012).

Carolina worked as a communication and marketing coordinator at Pólis Institut (Brazil, 2008 – 2013) and Global Platform for the Right to the City (Global, 2016), and content manager at Neocoder – Marketing Agency specializing in Crypto/Web3 (Global, 2024-2025).

O trabalho de roteiro é uma marca em suas obras, costurando conteúdo e entretenimento, garantindo uma narrativa visual potente, histórias que emocionam e campanhas bem-sucedidas. Seus filmes abordam temas como direitos ambientais, direitos humanos, direitos à comunicação e livre expressão, igualdade de gênero, equidade racial, decolonização do saber, segurança alimentar e nutricional, diversidade cultural, povos indígenas e tradicionais do Brasil.

Ao longo dos últimos anos colaborou como diretora em produtoras como Movie&Art, Olhar Imaginário, Bando, Agência D4G e Science and Nonduality (SAND).
